- I am a solo travel artist, writer, editor, and free spirit at large. I love to travel abroad, and though I have visited many countries on many continents, so much of the world remains to be discovered. My home away from home is Negril, Jamaica. My heart was captured the moment I set foot on that luscious island and it calls to me every day. I also travel daily in my "for now" home of New York City. Little trips on the subway to midtown, to jobs, to doctors, to museums, parks and concerts. There are countless on-foot trips in my hood, Astoria, Queens-- to the store, the coffee shop, restaurants, food carts, the post office and such. Even after thirteen years in NYC, I still feel I am borrowing the city for now, trying it on. Meanwhile my heart lies in Jamaica, in California, where I grew up, and where my beloved family still lives and in India, where I experienced the most transformative journey of my life.
